Reproduced from an acrylic painting, Zoo City is also available as a Montana state license plate which benefits Missoula Parks and Recreation. The poster portrays the urban animal population of Missoula, Montana among several well known landmarks: the Saint Francis bell tower, the Missoula Courthouse Clock and the University of Montana's Main Hall. Zoo City was commissioned by the Montana Department of State Lands to promote community forestry. Zoo City was used for several years in the early 1990's as a wrap around decal on Missoula's Mountain Line public transportation buses.
