The Trail to Missoula is a limited edition fine art print which has been faithfully reproduced from an acrylic on canvas painting that Monte Dolack completed in 2022. The painting was inspired by a sweeping springtime vista seen from a favorite hiking trail of mine in the South Hills of Missoula. The impressive view of the valley floor from over 1000 feet above Missoula is spectacular with the city twinkling below and the imposing horizon line of the Rattlesnake Wilderness visible in the distance. The 78" x 42" on canvas painting was commissioned by a friend and belongs to a private collection.

The Trail to Missoula Limited Edition Print was completed in 2025.  The edition consists of 50 prints and 5 artist proofs. The print was made by Marcy James at Paper and Ink in Missoula Montana.  The digital image is conserved on a pH neutral 100% rag fine art paper.
