This poster was created by Monte Dolack in 1985 - during an era which was called the Cold War which lasted from 1945-1990.
The poster was part of an international peace poster exhibition Images for Survival which coincided with the 40th anniversary of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The exhibition traveled to Hiroshima, Washington DC and New York. The exhibition catalog may still be ordered online.
