Oaxaca is a watercolor painted by Mary Beth Percival in February 1989; the setting is near a house that family friend and Missoula arts leader Marty Baker had rented to host friends and fellow artists visiting from the United States.

The subjects of the painting are the property's gardner-using his machete to cut the grass-and a young woman seated beside him; beautiful palms and fuschia bougainvillea frame this plein aire painting which Mary Beth completed in Oaxaca.

Mary Beth Percival passed away in December 2016.

The painting is archivally matted, framed and glassed; the mat is white and the frame is a silvered wood; please call or e-mail to discuss the frame and arrange shipping.

We cannot offer free shipping on original glassed artwork but will be happy to arrange the shipping to the destination of your choice.
