"On a mid summer morning we drove east of Missoula to the Ovando Valley and the North Fork of the Blackfoot River, cruising the back roads looking for a place to stop and spend several hours. We found a place with this wonderful view and I started painting. Later we had a picnic as the landscape continued changing with dramatic clouds and light." - Monte Dolack
