Monument is a 7"x 5" acrylic on panel painting of the famous natural red rock formations in the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park during a spring storm.
According to the artist "We visited Monument Valley in 2017 and purchased a photography tour into the back-country with our Navajo guide in his Suburban. This painting was later inspired during our stay at the tribal hotel The View-as our cabin directly faced the mysterious formations called "The Mittens" This painting was completed in 2025
This original acrylic on panel painting is floated over a cream linen fabric and matted with a 1/2" deep liner wrap and archivally framed in a gold molding. The framed size is 19" x 17"
