Artist statement on Yellowstone Autumn:

This watercolor painting was started on location next to the Yellowstone River in Montana during a 5 night float trip with close friends in 2018.  We spent two nights camping on an island somewhere between Big Timber and Columbus. This allowed me the time to set up and paint.

Yellowstone Autumn  was completed in watercolor and acrylic on 100% rag Arches paper in 2018.  The painting is displayed with a gold frame, floated on 100% rag  museum board and protected with glass.
