This limited edition print was commissioned by the Clark Fork Coalition to celebrate the removal of the Milltown dam at the confluence of Western Montana’s Clark Fork and Blackfoot River-the largest Superfund project in the United States.
The apparition of the dam creates a mysterious memory in the river corridor to suggest the history that is an important cultural element of this region. A river goddess watches over the transition.
